The Sheffield Brownie Baker
We have a Pop-Up stand at Sheffield Train station main concourse every Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday and occasional Saturday between 10.15am and 5.45pm
The Sheffield brownies baker has been trading since October 2022 in Sheffield train station, South Yorkshire's premier and busiest railway station, with over 10 million passengers per year coming through the doors. We are situated in the main concourse, you really cannot miss us, and have a stand each Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, as well as the occasional Saturday. We bake fresh brownies and cookies every day, and our stand is open between 10.15am and 6pm.
We all love people watching, and with over 10 million journeys each year, there are always so many people to see and chat too. I bake a selection of fresh brownies and cookies every day and we stay open until the last one is sold or 5.30pm, but I must say how delighted I am at the response we have had to us moving to the train station, with the brownies becoming more and more popular.
The stall is especially great for when there are significant events such as Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Easter, Fathers Day and Christmas, I love these days, and I always bake special brownies for the occasion, such as this years limited edition Valentines brownie slabs, and beautifully decorated brownies and blondies for Mothers day, Easter and Christmas including the really popular Cadbury's crème egg and Mini Egg brownies, Gingerbread blondies, and a range of cookies.
Lots of customers order their brownies in the morning before catching their trains, and then pick them up on their way home. I was born and raised in Sheffield, studied at Sheffield University and live in Sheffield, so to be able to open a brownies stall in the centre of the city is a dream come true.
